Zepplin OS, a decentralized platform of tools and services for smart contracts, has introduced their initial launch partners on its official blog. ChainLink was listed alongside other projects such as OpenBazaar, TrueBit, Storj, Ripio Credit Network, Decentraland, PROPS, LivePeer, and District0x.
SmartContract CEO, Sergey Nazarov will be presenting at SXSW on March 14th, 2018. The panel focuses on how smart contracts and ChainLink oracles will revolutionize the way legal agreements between parties are reached. He will be presenting alongside Tom Gonser who is the founder and former chief strategy officer of DocuSign. Mr. Gonser is now a partner with Seven Peaks Ventures, a venture capital fund out in Oregon.
BTCManager.com has published the following article that mentions the ChainLink/Confido collaboration. ChainLink is about connecting the blockchain world to off chain data that had previously beyond its scope. As the project continues to grow, we can expect to see more announcements regarding platforms integrating the ChainLink oracle network.
Confido is not the first collaborative effort for the ChainLink project. In July of 2016, FACTOM announced they are working with SmartContract. Request Network has also signaled recently that they are in close contact with the ChainLink team.
Speculation: Request Network Integration of ChainLink Oracles
After an earlier mention of the ChainLink project in their November 10th update, the following question was posed and subsequently answered by the Request Network team. This seems to indicate that Request Network may be working to integrate the ChainLink oracle network into their platform.
Confido has also recently stated in their FAQ that they will be using ChainLink in their beta platform release.
The unconfirmed but much rumored SWIFT/ChainLink partnership was mentioned in the recent Request Network news update. What is noteworthy about the mention is that there was no wording to indicate that the partnership with SWIFT was anything but a foregone conclusion.
The SWIFT messaging network handles trillions of transactions in a day. If/When a formal partnership announcement between SWIFT and SmartContract is announced it would be absolutely massive for the project in that it would drive massive adoption from other parties.
